Deeping Dive with Dan Harris (Book Reflection)

February 2021 kicked off a new series on self-love and self-care! :) For two weeks, I have talked about disciplined self love (with a free handout here) and more compassionate self-love. Now, it's time to address the middle ground there, and I did this by reviewing Dan Harris's book, 10% Happier.

I cover the following topics in this episode:

  • the logistics of this book (how many pages, chapters, central themes, etc.)

  • the benefits of mindfulness and meditation (according to Harris)

  • my three main observations/trends in this book

  • an invitation to participate in my coaching program and to join my private Facebook group

There's so much meat in this episode! I truly hope you take some time to listen in. In this new format, as I've mentioned before, each month will go like this:

  • Teaching (with a document to help you)

  • Mini-life coaching

  • Book review (with a study guide you can purchase)

  • Interview

Interviews will always be the longest episodes (obviously), and that's coming soon. Next week, I have a self-love expert sit down and chat with me. :)

If you enjoyed today's episode, please:

  1. Follow me @thevictoriousmrg & @beattheclockpodcast and join the FREE private Facebook group. When you do all 3, you'll be super connected to me (yay!)

  2. Subscribe for new episodes available every Friday!

  3. Tell your friends about this mission (a.k.a. share the content): it's a movement of empowerment and self-actualization. Wouldn't you want to share something that can positively change a life?

Thank you so much guys! I'm really working hard for your benefit! Hope you can see it!

Don't forget you can support me a little with a monthly donation!

P.S.- Don't forget you can purchase last month's study guide for only $4.99- it could lead to some radical inner work, and it further cements Mark Manson's ideas (from his book The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck) into your life. Play last month's series back in its entirety if you need a mindset reset.

February 2021 means a new series! :) I'm talking about love, but I'm not looking at the material world. I'm looking in and seeing how we can all show ourselves a little more love and care. I'm startin

I know I said this last week, but I'll say it again: this week's episode felt so good to record for you! I hadn't had the energy of another person on the podcast for a while, so it was really nice to
