BONUS episode *A breather*

Hello everyone!

I feel weird writing about myself talking: It's like three layers of my voice (writing notes, recording the episode, and reflecting on the episode) all on one topic, and I'm barely comfortable with the first layer lol.

Those of you who have purchased and read Break Through Fear (my first book!<3) have read that it's important to ask the right questions. Though my guests have done that in their own lives and been quite vocal about it, I wanted to show you how I do in my own life. It's scary to put yourself out there, but I also want you to see the real journey of finding my voice and letting this organism breathe on its own and how it feels right.

Favorite Takeaways From This Episode:

  • Winston Churchill's quote pretty much stayed in my head since I heard, so I'll type it here. "To improve is to change. To perfect is to change often." I saw it at about the time I was having those gut feelings that I needed to adjust. Nothing is coincidence.

  • Your idea doesn't suck. Your execution might though (and that's okay). Stay faithful to your "why" and adjust your "how" if needed.

  • Data is powerful: art is, too. Together, they are unstoppable. Don't avoid mixing the two: embrace it to accelerate your growth.

  • Stop waiting to change. Just do it. #BeatTheClock

What did you think?

I wanted to show you that you can celebrate and critique at the same time. I wanted to also model that transparency I hope everyone has in their own life. Transparency really brings transformation. Face things, or you spend a lot of time thinking about what you're hiding. ARE YOU EXCITED FOR THE CHANGES? I know I am. ;)
